Volkswagen ID. Crozz²
The ID Crozz will be a fairly large car with a tall front end and window line. It’s a coupe shape like the GLC Coupe and X4, but looks slightly less awkward. The bodywork is sharp, and the combination of black roof and small windows make it look lower and more like a conventional saloon.
The ID Crozz will be fully electric, with a claimed range of around 300 miles – although, as with all electric cars, that depends on weather conditions, driving style and lots of other factors. It’ll have a large 225kW battery and 302hp, and should be able to recharge to 80% battery in just half an hour.
It’ll have some degree of self-driving capability from launch, but upgrades will be offered when the technology improves. The retracting steering wheel shows that VW are serious about autonomous tech, but you’ll be able to turn it off – for a few years, at least.
